Touchscreens look like they might be one of 2009's breakout display technologies; CNN's use of a large touchscreen Magic Wall for analyzing last year's presidential election gained the network kudos. (Built by New York-based manufacturer Perceptive Pixel — which calls it the Multi-Touch Collaboration Wall — sells basic panels that start at $100,000.) Avalue Technology's FPC line, expected to price much lower, tops out with the FPC-22W02 — a five-wire resistive touchscreen 22in. display with 1680×1050 resolution. It supports a variety of Intel CPUs and hard drive or CompactFlash storage, and it has a PCI slot and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.
