Display Tools — BenQ
It seems all the innovation for monitors is in the LCD and flat-panel space, but CRT isn't bowing out of this industry anytime soon. Though the technology is somewhat entrenched, companies like BenQ find ways to optimize the performance of new generations while keeping prices down. The latest additions to the company's line, the P211 and P992, both boast a super-fine .25in. dot pitch. The 19in. P992 offers a maximum resolution of 1600×1200, with no visible screen curvature thanks to Natural Flat CRT technology. The P211, with a diagonal viewable area of 20in., supports resolutions up to 1920×1440 and features automatic image calibration accessible via BenQ's iKey on the front plate. The company markets these monitors to the independent video producer with a home office.
Price: $275 for P992; $625 for P211
