Avitech International will unveil new features for its Media Command Center 8000 series (MCC-8000) at NAB 2005. The MCC-8000 accommodates signal-monitoring applications for HD, SD, analog video, analog audio, digital audio, embedded audio, and computer-generated graphics. The MCC series offers a virtual monitor wall system with a mix-and-match module platform for creating a customized view. Single modules can be used for standalone applications, or multiple modules can be used with an Avitech controller to create up to eight display groups.

New features include up to four pairs of multiple onscreen audio meters; built-in alarm and fault reporting via SNMP or GPI/O; multiple onscreen alarms, including third-party alarms via external trigger such SNMP and GPI; HD-embedded audio and audio phase correlation display; API for third-party integration; LCD touchpanel control center; and serial tally integration with leading production switchers.
