Everyone knows it's important to regularly back up drives that brim with valuable files. Employing portable, external drives for backup is increasingly popular, but they can clutter up a desktop with their cables and power cords. Granite Digital's solution? SATAVue, an internal drive kit using aluminum hot-swap sleds to hold the latest SATA drives. How's it work? Users buy a cage and drive sled, load it with their choice of SATA drive, then simply install the setup into an empty drive slot. The drives can be quickly removed and shared or replaced. Cables for both the SATA drive and power connection are included. A built-in fan, along with a handy LCD display that helps monitor drive temperatures, decreases the worry about potential data loss from overheated drives.
