NewSoft introduced its Presto Wireless Multimedia System (WMS) at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF). The Presto WMS is a wireless broadcast application that uses the latest WiFi 802.11a/b/g technology to provide users with the ability to broadcast in realtime screen-captured images, MPEG-1, and MPEG-2 files from any WiFi-enabled PC or notebook to multiple PCs, notebooks, or VGA/XVGA projectors incorporating a hardware WiFi receiver adapter. Viewers can wirelessly share oversized video, image files, even PowerPoint files with embedded animation and video clips in realtime.
