While the latest camcorders offer great capabilities, some still rely on smaller, consumer-type batteries — not the best choice when powering on-camera lights and other accessories. To hold larger batteries, Anton/Bauer developed the QR-JVC 7/14 HDV Gold Mount, designed for the JVC GY-HD100 ProHD camcorder. Mechanically secured to the camera body, the mount also features a RealTime interface to the camera. This displays the battery's remaining runtime in hours and minutes directly in the camcorder's viewfinder.
