The app originated with Oscar-winning Industrial Light & Magic vet John Knoll, co-creator of Photoshop. The plug-in helps create lens flares and other lighting effects, such as lasers, explosions, and stars. New features include a redesigned user interface, realtime preview, grayscale mask (to partially obscure lights), more than 100 light presets, and 16-bit color support.
