Fast Forward Video (FFV) helps meet that goal with eClips, a simplified DVR pegged for live-broadcast production. Available for either SD or HD-SDI broadcasts, the compact device offers straightforward controls for instant, on-the-fly access to video still/clip stores, animated graphics, and audio clips for live news, sports, and educational programs. Producers can ingest video in realtime or download video files from standard formats — such as AVI — and then generate play-lists either manually or from the system's library database.
