'40 Weeks' Documentary Depends on JMR Storage10/22/2014 11:15 AM Eastern
The documentary 40 Weeks follows women of varying ages, ethnicities, marital situations, and economic backgrounds as they move from learning that they are pregnant to birth.
“The nine-month project workflow included shooting in RED with roughly 50 TB of raw footage and having three editors on three workstations editing simultaneously with Adobe Premiere Pro,” says filmmaker Christopher Henze. “These demands required a flexible storage solution that could sustain very high performance with rock-solid reliability since we couldn’t ask the women going through their pregnancies to reset. We chose JMR’s BlueStor storage server and SilverStor ATX workstation solutions because of the company’s reputation for building very dependable and affordable products that offer great value--and bottom line, after nine months, the system just works and I couldn’t be happier.”
