Netflix Works Out Deal with Comcast for Smoother Streaming2/24/2014 12:20 PM Eastern
After months of complaints about subpar video streaming on Netflix because of broadband companies throttling traffic, Netflix and Comcast have worked out an agreement.
Writes VideoInk, "Essentially, Netflix has agreed to pay Comcast to have access to its broadband network. Slower speeds on Netflix has been an issue for the past several months, and precedes the recent court rulings and furor over net neutrality. What the streaming company is trying to resolve here with Comcast will assure that Comcast subscribers won’t have to worry about a jammed up Netflix user experience."
