Some start-ups are successfully using a new tool in their arsenal to get potential investors: video. Writes The Wall Street Journal, "Video can be a highly effective marketing tool for a start-up because 'sight, sound and motion communicate much better than written copy and static images,' says Bob Gilbreath, author of The Next Evolution of Marketing. Audiences are generally receptive to low-budget productions because they're now commonplace and tend to convey authenticity, he adds."
