Morgan Spurlock on Producing a Show for Hulu4/19/2012 9:04 AM Eastern
Morgan Spurlock talks to The New York Times about the changing lanscape of web TV and why he chose to distribute his original series A Day in the Life on Hulu.
Says Spurlock, "Around 2008 I read about [Hulu] in the trades and thought, 'This is fantastic.' Years ago when I started my first company we started as an Internet video company. At the time, back in 2000, the ability to stream wasn’t quite there. So to see this come full circle, I wanted to meet with those guys immediately. When they started to get into the idea of original content, they asked if I was interested in doing something and I jumped on it."
