Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve & Nuke at Jan. 11th LAPPG Meeting
You are invited to the first Los Angeles Post Production Group meeting of the year on January 11th at 7pm featuring presentations from Hollywood-DI’s Managing Director Neil Smith and colorist Andrew Balis on Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve and vfx guru and master trainer Steve Wright who will present "What' So Hot About Nuke."
DaVinci Resolve has been used to grade more feature films, promotional spots, documentaries, episodic television productions and music videos than any other color grading system, including box office hits such as "Avatar", "Robin Hood," "Quantum of Solace", "Transformers", “Alice in Wonderland”, “The Fighter” and “Hereafter”.
***Now that Resolve Lite, a reduced feature version with unlimited color correction nodes, is available for free, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the world's highest performance color correction solution.
And we are thrilled to have VFX Guru Steve Wright presenting "What's So Hot About Nuke?"
Nuke has overtaken the post production world as the de facto leader in visual effects compositing. It has been adopted by such industry power-hitters as ILM, Weta Digital, DNeg, Framestore, Blue Sky Studios, and practically everyone else.
In this presentation Steve Wright, a 20 year VFX compositing veteran turned master trainer, will lift the hood of Nuke to reveal those unique features that have made it so different from all that came before. This presentation is designed for all film and video post production professionals, not just compositors.
By attending this LAPPG evening event you too will know What's So Hot About Nuke!
