Default Adobe Encore uses Photoshop files for templates

Adobe Encore uses Photoshop files for templates. Does anyone know what DVD Studio Pro uses and can they be turned into or used somehow in Adobe Encore?

Happy New Year Marc - an interesting question, indeed.

DVDSP templates are a complex combination of graphic and other elements tthat aren't directly transplantable or exportable.

If you want to explore what's inside a template, you can open the package contents of a .dvdsptemplate file that typically is found here:

    Library/Application Support/Final Cut Studio/DVD Studio Pro/Templates

CONTROL-click on the template file you wish to investigate, and select "Show Package Contents"

You can then drill down itno the template file and check out the elements, some of which are PSD files (but these are NOT directly usable in Encore as Menu Templates.)

To see why, read the Encore Manual for info about what a PDF Menu Template is, and how it is created. There are very specific elements and
    naming conventions used in Encore.
