    Default RAM & AE question

Is there a big difference when working with AE if you use 667MHz ram opposed to 800 or or more MHz?
I know this may be a silly question, but i would like to know if the difference is considerable for increasing the speed of work with AE.
    THX in advance.

You have to use the RAM that's right for your computer. More RAM is always better but you can't just simply bump the speed of your RAM, it has to work with your machine.

I'm not a Mac guy, so don't take this as absolute, but it would appear that 800
Mhz ram works for your setup.

I don't think it's a silly question, but more and faster ram is a pretty huge upgrade. More supercedes faster though in my opinion. But I've found that my hard drive can't keep up with the RAM anymore, so if you're looking for better performance, there are alwasy going to be bottlenecks. An SSD would help me out, but I haven't gotten around to getting that yet.
