'Natural Phenomena' Time-Lapse Juxtaposes Nature with Urban Landscapes

Reid Gower's short time-lapse "Natural Phenomena" juxtaposes some of the world's most famous urban landmarks with some of nature's most majestic offerings. Gower shot it (his first time-lapse) over a six-month period using a Nikon D300, Canon 5D Mark II and a GoPro Hero 2.

In explaining the title of his project, he writes, "Humans are part of the natural order. We're risen apes that acquired language and learned to use tools. Skyscrapers and spacecraft may seem unnatural, but they're just as much a part of the natural order as beaver dams and bird nests."
