Delkin Devices Launches SDHC VideoPro Card Line

Delkin has launched a new line of VideoPro Flash memory that is optimized for recording Full-HD video.  Delkin's VideoPro cards will be available in SDHC (high capacity) format and easily identifiable with capacity and minutes of recording time.

Delkin released the high performance SDHC cards and will be exhibiting them at PMA 2009 in their booth (#H277) in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"The Delkin VideoPro line of cards deliver an exceedingly high performance and are specifically optimized for capturing striking, high-definition video at 1080 resolution," said Tom Robeson, marketing manager for Delkin Devices. "With this new line of video cards we are aligned to take the 'best in class' title for camcorder media." He added the recording times are easily recognized to make the consumer choice easy, and the entire video line is capable of working seamlessly with any SDHC compatible device.

The number of flash-enabled camcorders, point and shoots, and digital SLRs with HD recording capabilities continues to increase in popularity.
Delkin's VideoPro cards with the enhanced speed in recording HD and the card-to-computer transfer times are striking, and benefit photographers and videographers in the field now.  Delkin's VideoPro cards, when used with the company's ExpressCard adapters or USB 2.0 readers, dramatically reduce the time needed to download digital video files to a computer. The difference may be a critical time saver as file sizes for video and images
continues to increase.

Delkin's VideoPro memory card line combines high speed and high capacity with reliability. This is accomplished by using high grade SLC NAND flash products, advanced controller design, and quality control guidelines based on ISO:9001 standards. The company has supported Lifetime warranties on its memory products for over 20 years, while maintaining its place at the cutting edge of performance.

The VideoPro line of memory cards is expected to ship worldwide by April 2009. They will be offered in 4GB/1 hour, 8GB/2-hours, 16GB/4-hours & 32GB/8-hours — on the HD Standard setting — for SDHC format. Suggested retail prices are $59.99, $99.99, $149.99, and $239.99 respectively, for the 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB SDHC cards.  For media images & more information on Delkin's VideoPro SDHC memory cards, go to www.delkin.com/products/videopro.
