Astro Aims to Bring Time-Lapse Panning to the Video-Shooting Masses

A new Kickstarter project called Astro is attempting to bring the masses an affordable motion control device for time-lapse photography. Explains The Verge, "The device looks like an anodized aluminum hockey puck and uses three rotating rings to set your duration, sweep angle, and shot frequency."

Astro has already exceeded its $50,000 goal. Pledging $180 will get you a pre-order of the device. Read more here.
