3DCone: The Lens That Turns Your iPhone into a 3D Camera

A new Kickstarter project is hoping to get 3DCone, a lens that lets your iPhone camera shoot in 3D, off of the ground. Explains PSFK, "The 3DCone works with a special app that’s able to turn the smartphone into a stereoscopic camera. A mirror is carefully angled in the cone, so two images can be shot simultaneously. The app then allows users to export pictures and videos in various formats, such as raw data, red/cyan (anaglyph) or interlaced."

The project has raised a little over $3000 of its $55,000 goal. Read more here on PSFK.
